PSYCHOTHERAPY WITH DR. LYNNE

If you're curious about what it's like to undergo psychotherapy with an Integrative psychotherapist like me, it's important to approach the experience with an open mind. Every therapy session and therapist is unique, regardless of any previous experiences you may have had.

Therapists have varying levels of education and expertise, specializing in different mental health conditions, and utilize different approaches and techniques based on their theoretical perspectives. It is essential to let go of preconceived notions, and your therapy sessions will flow and be influenced by the direction you take in the conversation. I will follow your lead.

As your therapist, I am committed to creating a safe and supportive space to work together to address your individual needs. Every person is unique, and I use various proven approaches to personalize our sessions to your specific learning and processing style. As an Integrative Therapist, I can shift seamlessly, drawing from various psychology and counseling theories.

I have been trained and experienced in various therapeutic perspectives and approaches, such as psychodynamic therapy, insight-oriented therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, Buddha psychology, and humanistic psychotherapy. I support giving in-between-session assignments and ask you to use journaling for self-reflection and growth.

I believe in delving into one's past experiences to understand how they impact their present. I aim to assist you in gaining a deeper understanding of your behavioral patterns and support you in making sustainable changes in your life. I am here to help you to connect the dots between different aspects of your life, such as your experiences, emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. By doing so, you can better understand yourself and increase your self-awareness.

During therapy sessions, we will establish a strong connection. You will have a reliable confidant who won't judge you but will encourage you to consider different perspectives by gently challenging your thoughts and beliefs. As your therapist, I am genuinely curious about your true self beyond societal, familial, religious, or cultural influences.

In Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy, the therapeutic relationship plays a crucial role. You can trust me to provide a supportive and safe space for you to release, embrace your journey, and process any images, insights, thoughts, or memories that arise.
