Go beyond conventional methods.
Ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP) for couples uses the therapeutic properties of ketamine to help couples access profound emotional insights and accelerate their healing journey.
Ketamine acts as a catalyst, allowing partners to delve deeper into their emotions and experiences paving the way for transformative growth and improved communication.
Through guided sessions in a safe, supportive, environment and professional compassionate psychotherapist, you can explore unresolved issues, process trauma, and develop new coping strategies.
I do not prescribe ketamine medication.
Each partner and I work collaboratively with a medical group that is dedicated to the ketamine-assisted psychotherapy process. Journey Clinical’s medical team is responsible for:
- Determining your eligibility with an initial mental health evaluation and follow up consultations.
- Developing a treatment plan that includes vitals, dosing, and frequency.
- Providing Ketamine prescription(s) and refills.
How It Works
The usual protocol is for each partner to have a private dosing session before experiencing the journey together. The newly revealed insights are then taken into the second dosing session.
But before the dosing sessions, we will meet several times to discuss what you want and need from KAP and discuss the protocols and safety measures. You will have time to ask any question.
The three-hour dosing sessions occur in my tranquil office furnished with a sofa featuring two recliners so that both of you can be comfortable and close. The sessions can also be conducted remotely, in the comfort of your own home. I stay with you through the process, creating a safe, therapeutic space for you to feel comfortable and secure while you are on your journey.
In just 4-6 weeks (about 1 and a half months), you will have 23 highly effective therapy session hours, delivering better results than 23 sessions spread out over 23-48 weeks (about 11 months).
